Missy attended Limestone College in Gaffney, SC, before transferring to Medical University of South Carolina where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1995. She then completed course work and examination to become a Certified Athletic Trainer.
Missy has more than 27 years of experience in a wide variety of settings including outpatient (Orthopedics and Neurology), inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, and home health. However, outpatient has always been her passion. She has extensive experience with general orthopedics and sports injuries, as well as working with neurologically involved patients. She also works with patients to improve functional balance and fall prevention.
Having strong clinical and personal skills as well as a genuine concern for her patients and their recovery make Missy a great fit for ProMotion.
Outside of work, Missy enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, and spending time with family and friends at the lake.
