Biography
Marie was born and raised in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. In high school, she began running competitively across the Mid-Atlantic. She went on to run D1 Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor Track at Penn State. Marie graduated in 2011 with a B.S. in Kinesiology with a focus in Education. She then moved to South Carolina to become a P.E. and Health teacher at FSD1 for 5 years, where she coached Women’s Soccer, Cross Country, and Track. Marie went on to PTA school at FDTC and graduated in 2020.
As a former athlete and teacher, Marie enjoys working with young athletes as they work back to their sport. Marie has a background in CrossFit, powerlifting, Olympic lifting, and a USATF level one certification.
In her spare time, Marie enjoys time with her husband and two dogs, traveling the country, gardening, and weightlifting.
