Biography
Essence is a Florence native who comes to ProMotion as a COTA. Essence attended Wilson High School where she began running cross country and track and field which ultimately influenced her career path. Essence went on to run D1 cross country and track and field at the University of South Carolina Upstate, graduating in 2017 with a BS in exercise science. After returning home, she attended OTA school at Piedmont Technical College. Since graduating from OTA school, she has gained experience in acute care orthopedics and outpatient pediatrics, primarily working with children with an Autism diagnosis.
Outside of her profession, Essence enjoys traveling, trying new food, biking, and playing basketball with her husband.
