Dr. Jill Tyler – Patient-Centered Physical Therapist with a Holistic, Individualized Approach

Dr. Jill Tyler is a dedicated and compassionate Doctor of Physical Therapy with nearly 10 years of clinical experience across a variety of practice settings. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from South College in 2025 after completing her Physical Therapist Assistant degree at Midlands Technical College in 2016 and her undergraduate education at the University of South Carolina in 2014.

Expertise & Special Interests
Dr. Tyler believes in treating the whole person—not just the injury—by using a patient-centered, individualized approach to care. She emphasizes collaboration, education, and movement strategies tailored to each patient’s goals, lifestyle, and long-term health. Her clinical interests include:

  • Orthopedic & Sports Rehabilitation – Helping patients recover from injury, restore function, and return to meaningful activity.
  • Post-Surgical Rehabilitation – Guiding patients through safe, progressive recovery to regain strength, mobility, and confidence.
  • Aging Adult Care – Supporting independence, mobility, and quality of life through targeted, functional interventions.
  • Preventative & Primary Care Physical Therapy – Focusing on early intervention, movement optimization, and long-term wellness.
  • Manual Therapy – Incorporating hands-on techniques to improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall movement quality.

Dr. Tyler is passionate about empowering patients through education and self-management strategies, helping them better understand their bodies and take an active role in their recovery. She strives to create a supportive environment where patients feel heard, motivated, and confident in their rehabilitation journey.

Life Beyond the Clinic
Outside of work, Jill enjoys Pilates, pottery, traveling, spending time with her family, and exploring new places with her dog.
