Biography
Dr. Sarah Fitch holds a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and a special interest in Runner’s Rehabilitation as well as lower extremity injuries. Sarah graduated from University of Vermont with her Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science, then took a year off to gain more experience in the PT world as a tech. She then returned to school at MCPHS University graduating in 2015 with her Doctorate of Physical therapy and began in an outpatient orthopedic clinic in Rhode Island where she worked for 7years. Sarah moved to South Carolina in 2022 and began working at Promotion Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Sarah has experience treating patients from 13-96 years old with a wide range of injuries, conditions, and pre-existing issues and illnesses. She takes time to individualize each patient’s treatment plan and program to ensure the best outcomes for that individual. Injuries of the knee, foot, and ankle are of most interest to Sarah but she particularly enjoys working with runners and athletes. The most important thing for Sarah is getting people back to as much independence as possible and helping people lead a more active and healthier lifestyle.
Sarah spends her time outside of the clinic practicing what she educates all her patients on including working out, running, and playing with her three dogs. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, spending time at the beach, and traveling with her husband Curt.
